Goals/aspirations

Learning Assembly to make a NES game
Recently (as of writing in August 2024) I have had a great interest in creating my own NES game. Of course, it wouldn't be anything good and wouldn't hold up to a professionally created game. However, it would be a great achivement and offer plenty of opportunities for me to learn multiple new things such as how the components in the NES work (such as PPU), how to flash .roms onto a cartridge, learn how the graphics in NES works, how the color limitations work, learning how to write in Assembly, etc.

I assume this is a fairly big uptaking and will take a year or two to have something very basic "completed" with many bugs. However, that is fine by me. I really enjoy learning and having something to improve upon. I have no idea what type of game I want to create, though I would like to do something different from a platformer. My all time favorite NES (well, famicom) game is Donaldland (translated to English since I don't speak Japanese). If I do make a platformer, I would definitely take inspirationfrom that game.

My goal for the rest of 2024 is to learn the basics of assembly and the logic behind NES graphics. I assume I will have a "game" to test my graphics/written assembly on with an emulator. I expect no massive progress this year, but rather, small steps to achieve this overall goal.

Lucid Dream
I would really like to master lucid dreaming, as I would like to of course meet my mind husband (Duke Nukem) or mind boyfriend/just friend (Ronald McDonald). However, aside from meeting them, I would also enjoy exploring the ocean from an observer perspective during a lucid dream. I have tried to do this with remote viewing, as I want to view Earth's oceans in real time. I have made multiple attempts to write down my dreams when I wake up (as a way to get better at lucid dreaming), however, I often times forget immediately after waking up that I must write down my dreams. I feel as though dreams and lucid dreams are definitely more than just figmites of the imagination. There is a reason dreams feel real, our spirit is an active member of the experience in some other dimension. Of course we can meet other entities in this state, just as in our waking "Earth" state, entities can communicate to our minds such as "God" or evil entites who taunt victims (known as schizophrenia). Those are more extreme examples of possible good and evil, however, you can interact with more neutral entities as well. This is not something I'm aware if I've done or not in the dream state, though, I assume in lucid dreaming since you're more conscious during the "dream", your interactions with other spirits is more memorable.

Enjoy every day cooking
While I possess the ability to cook, I generally do not enjoy it. I dislike being hungry while having to prepare a meal, cook it, stare at it for 25 minutes while I'm starving, being forced to smell the food while I'm starving. It's just unpleasent and feels like tortue - if I could snap my fingers and have the meal right in front of me, that would be preferable. I recognize my shortcomings and thus, I want to make the effort to enjoy cooking. Please note that my goal is to enjoy the process of cooking, not necesarrily to "get better" at cooking, since my meals aren't poor in quality or flavor.

As of this year (2024), I have made a few changes in order to better enjoy cooking. I have started incorporating my interest of vintage technology with cooking. To be specific, including vintage cooking appliances (such as vintage mixers, vintage griddles, etc.) will make the process more enjoyable. This effort does work.

Continue the quest of knowledge
I love to learn and improving my knowledge is one of the things I enjoy most. Specifically, with technology repair. I have plenty more to learn, plenty more mistakes to make, and learning is something that makes me feel proud and productive with my spare time.
