Vintage Technology Repair Log
This page contains entries for the vintage technology I've repaired.
An overview of each entry is detailed below each picture. This is to make it more user-friendly, as you may see a description that matches an issue you're having with a device. Click on the "read more" link for a more detailed troubleshooting and repair documentation.
I started keeping track in January 2024. I will keep this updated for successful repairs, fails, and works in progress.

Repair fail (due to inadequate parts):
Walmart Electric Hand Mixer
Mixer stopped working. Metal utinsils would no longer spin. The plastic gears were shredded (this is why it's stupid to put plastic gears in a high speed motor). No metal parts available for this device. Could be repaired, but no parts to fix this.

The auxillary jack input was torn off by accident. Along with it came up 3 PCB pads and 2 PCB traces. Involves making a jumperwire and scraping traces to solder over.
